Its Tuesday, blog day! I actually have been looking forward to this, to my surprise.

It’s been a bit of a rough week; my emotions have been all over the place. I’ve got a lot of world building done and completed a second draft of the prologue for Nalhadan, but there’s a sting in the tail in that I could have done more. Nonetheless, progress is progress and I’ll take it.

Bittersweet…What a truthful word.

It truly has been the spirit of today. It started with the usual ‘oh well, time for work’. It’s fluctuated between better than average and worse to land slightly below I think.

I only really look forward to going to work to see a select few people; two of the main three people I see all day are sound guys and generally pleasing to converse with or simply be in the presence of. And there’s one other, a lady a few years older than me, whom I absolutely adore. She’s out of reach but it doesn’t stop me constantly thinking about her. There’s one other, an older scientist who I’m certain only sees fun in the world.

A prolific quote from a prolific singer. I’m sitting here staring at my computer, scratching at stubble and running my fingers through my hair, wondering what I should write. I do that when writing actual content for a book. It shouldn’t be the same for blogs should it? I wouldn’t know, I’ve literally never written one before. Well I guess we all have our own way of doing things.
